Review: Charcoal pore strips by 7th Heaven/ Montagne Jeunesse

When I was in Brussels last week I discovered the 7th Heaven Charcoal pore strips at the Claire’s. I kinda suffer from blackheads on my nose, so I was keen to try it out and I just had to review it!

The strips promise to absorb excess sebum and blackheads. Additionally, it cleans your pores and make them less visible. The strips also contain volcanic ash and this helps to clear the area of dead skin cells.

Ingredients & Instructions

When I put in on my nose I immediately noticed the scent, which I didn’t expected.. (note to self: read ingredients before use) it was a bit unnecessary for me but the smell was pretty nice and fresh. So, it didn’t bother me. Then I watched an episode of Modern Family, since an episode is approximately 20 minutes. During the time the strip hardened. With other brands I experienced that the strip got more hard, but I actually like that it didn’t got so hard. As I don’t really like that feeling. For me the pore strrips did not feel annoying. πŸ™‚

It was a little bit difficult and maybe even a bit painful to remove the strip. I didn’t really mind it, because for me it fe;t like a lot of gunk was being removed. And it did! I never had a pore strip that removed so much gunk from my noise, however because of the charcoal I did expect more.

Overall, I’m very happy with the product. As it cleared my pores really well! I have the feeling that I should add pore strips more seriously in my skin care routine, especially these!

I definitely recommend these pore strips! Have you ever used these strips? If so, what do you think about them? I’m curious! Or if you know a better brand for pore stripes, please commend below. I will thank you for eternity!!!!
Enjoy your weekend and Love Life,Maxime

  1. hi, I was just wondering because I have recently purchased these and I tried them out but I think I applied them on the wrong side because it says on the packet to apply the smooth side down but because normal pore strips have to be applied with the sticky side down I just assumed that it was the sticky side down. anyway I was just wondering if you applied it with the black, sticky side to your nose or the side that wasn’t sticky and kind of soft and with some kind of thin layer of cotton on it to your nose. I was confused because the soft side that wasn’t sticky didn’t stick to my nose well even when I wet my nose and the sticky side just got stuck to my fingers .

    1. Hi Asha, you are the first one to comment on my blog!! (Super exciting!!) To answer your question, you need to apply the sticky side on your nose πŸ™‚ If you have any other question don’t hesitate to ask! Xx
